The body adapts itself to whatever you feed it, and a Westernized diet of cooked, processed and adulterated foods are what you are used to; so the cravings, likes & dislikes of food become "perverted" over time.
Someone asked me recently:
Q: if raw fruit & vegetables are your preferred choice, why do fried eggs, bacon, sausages and baked beans out of a tin taste so good then?
Answer: because your sense of taste and cravings have been perverted by those very foods.
After a lengthy fast, and a great deal of both healing & internal house-cleaning, the wants & needs of the body change dramatically towards "cleaner" and more "natural" foods, where even the mere thought of a fried breakfast can be quite nauseating and "unclean".
This is something that has to be experienced to be believed.
RAW FOODS are "living" foods that contain all of the enzymes and nutrition that translate into making you feel so very much alive too.
COOKED FOODS are essentially "dead" foods, and are mostly devoid of the life-elements needed for wellness, vitality, and the zest for living.
