Yes, it was nerve wracking!! Anything with lumps near breast pretty much sends me into a tizzy. I automatically thought that I had a serious problem.
They didn't tell me much about Mondor's Disease in the office because:
1. It's benign, practically harmless, and
2. My doctor wasn't around...I went to a "breast center", and it was the radiologist who gave me the "good news" that it wasn't a tumor or anything serious.
But yes, it was awful. My fears about illness are quite different now that I'm a parent. Being a mom certainly is a good motivator to stay healthy. Yesterday, after I got the good news, was the first time in a while that I TRULY felt extremely grateful for my health.
