Autolysis begins between 18-36 hours after your last meal. It then takes another day or two usually before the body is providing all it needs from it's own stores. So you should be into full autolysis by now- usually called full ketosis- referring to the ketones that are produced by the breakdown of fat cells. Ketones replace glucose in the blood and supply the majority of our energy needs during fasting.
