My wife was particularly pleased after I read that prune juice, (without vitamin C added) cut the taste of the mms, however after a week the beneficial aspects of the mms on her asthma and allergy problems seemed to be markedly less. Then I looked up the antioxidant contents of juices and vegetables mainly attributable to the vitamins C and E as well as beta carotene. Lo and behold prune juice is one of if not the highest on one list,

vitamin C added or not. Could this negate some of the mms?
While we're on the subject. Much of my life has seen me taking strong antioxidants to reduce those nasty free radicals that are formed by the oxidization (rusting) of our systems. Now I'm being talked into, albeit by a recently retired physician whose specialty was nutrition, ( a rarity ), to ingest what is likely the most potent oxidant in existence without a mention of free radical production or perhaps a need to increase ones antioxidant intake say 6 to 12 hours after ingesting the mms.
