Yes once the thyroid is up and running properly again, it will affect everything else. That must have been a priority as you say.
I've said many times on this and other forums, that when i used Seasalt
, mainly for an adrenal issue, it cured my cold feet in less than a week. The adrenals are usually affected if the thyroid is not working properly and vice versa. Did you regularly take temps before. For anyone that doesn't know, if your temps are lowish and fluctuate a lot during the day, its adrenals, if very low but steady its thyroid, if low and fluctuate its both, i think i got that right. Also there is a pupil test, for adrenals also.
I used to take iodine, 50mg of Lugols
for 4 months, but after developing which i think is vitiligo, i got scared of it, taking it in food, seaweed etc is probably.
the best way. Some people find Iodine
causes problems. Hashis folk especially.
It does seem that several long fasts are needed, bluegreen did one seventeen and 2 ten days or was it 2 seventeen and one ten day fast, i remember it because it was the first post i read that confirmed what i'd been reading about. She was also eating mainly raw.
I'm convinced it was the fast that cured it. I'm doing 5 day fasts, but nothing longer yet. I really want to, but i am not overweight, and i have holiday coming up a couple months. When i get back, i will probably have put on weight, and i will be free of commitments by then, so i might go for long fast then.
One of my resolutions for this year is to cure the hypo via waterfasting and better diet.
Anyway what a success, especially when people get told they have to be on meds for rest of life. Mine started with the menopause, so i don't see why it can't be reversed, i just think everything gets out of balance then.
