Your question: I don't feel drowsy if I take vitamins including vitamin C which is very acidic. Why doesn't everybody feel drowsy from taking supplements with silica? Most people feel drowsy from taking antihistamine. If vitamins alone or vitamins with silica caused drowsiness in a lot of people like antihistimine, wouldn't it have been known and talked about by now? I don't feel drowsy from taking ACV which is also acidic.

Anything that may Cause one to become Drowsy, may be anything that may prevent the needed supply of Energy for the body?
What could this include in it's meaning?
1st, how is Energy Created or may we say Released?
If we have two glasses full of the same kind of Acid and we mix these together, we just end up with a Bigger Glass full of the same , and "NO" Release of Energy from the mixing of them together !
Or if we have two glasses full of the same kind of Alkaline Mineral and we mix them together, we just end up with a Bigger glass of the Alkaline Mineral and "NO" Energy Released !
Also, if we have Poor Digestion and choose to eat something that Causes most of our Digestive Acids to become Neutralized, we may for a time Lack in needed Energy and Oxygen !
Also, if we eat Harder to Digest foods and because they Require a Greater amount of stomach Acids to properly Digest, as well as more "Oxygen", this may also cause a slow down of Energy release in our Digestive system, and because of Requiring more Oxygen to be Neutralized, thus "NOT" be available for our body to be able to stay alert, thus may cause us to become too Drowsy !
Anything we may eat that may take more Energy to Digest, or any foods that may not provide for Energy release(Acids to Acids, or Alkaline to Alkaline)may cause a problem of Drowsiness?
So, one would just need to figure out "ALL" the Different Variables in your case to pin point the problem !
The Simplest thing to do, may be what you learned earlier, that certain foods or Vitamins etc caused you problems, thus you "Stopped" eating them !
So, just learn to pay "Close" attention to what your body is trying to tell you is causing you the most problems, then make the choice to "Stop" eating or drinking what is causing the problem !
