Hello all,
I'm convinced i have a candida overgrowth... craving sweets no matter how full I am,
Psoriasis since age 18 (1 year after I started drinking alcohol,) which improved greatly when I cut out all sugars, alcohol, and fruits a few years back... anyway, I'm currently following the VCO detox as found here:
http://www.curemanual.com/detox-protocols/intestinal-cleansing/virgin-coconut...
I did a master cleanse last month for 19 days, and saw my
Psoriasis improve, then flare up and get worse by the end, but I was practically guzzling maple syrup at that point so it's no surprise!
Has anyone out there experimented with the VCO detox in order to eradicate Candida? According to the site (which draws from Bruce Fife's protocol in his "Coconut Cures" book) it's best to follow for 7 days, and yogurt can be used.
But doesn't dairy feed Candida? What about Kefir (I have some kefir grains and can make my own.) How about coconut water kefir (too sugary, or is the
Sugar depleted if allowed to "brew" for longer time?)
Also, I'm wondering if it's okay to start introducing fermented vegetables, which I
also make at home, after I've completed this protocol? There are so many dissenting views on this...
Thanks!
