Hi Bella, I'm afraid I know very little about juice fasting so my advice in this case will be a bit one sided. For instance I have no idea if it would effect a juice 'fast' to take the liver detox supplements. There is a juice fasting forum here at curezone I believe where they should be able to answer that question.
I choose water (or dry) fasting over juice fasting because it is far more efficient. The body does not need nourishing while it is cleansing and repairing itself and does a far better job when we don't nourish it. I think they say that juice fasting takes three times longer to have the same effects as water fasting, I believe though there are things that the body can do while
Water Fasting that are impossible while we are still feeding it.
Juicing is fantastic, it is super healthy, cleansing for the body and incredibly nourishing compared to most crappy cooked and processed diets. But fasting is the ultimate, it is the natural way our body is supposed to deal with injury and illness. If you are in no hurry to cleanse your body then
juicing would be fine, but if you are at all concerned about what your diet could have done to your body then
Water Fasting is the best way to make sure all damage is repaired.
I hope this biased advice helps a bit. :)
Andrew.
