Well, I made it to day 20 of no solids (day 13 on water), and I broke the fast. I have been craving/feeling like I need tomatoes, so I pureed some tomatoes and had those last night. Today I made some tomato soup. I just feel a really strong desire for them. But, I know I am not close to being done with fasting, and so I am going to go back to water tomorrow.
I know this completely defeats the purpose of doing a long water fast, but I am being honest and I did break down and have tomatoes. oops.
I hope it will not be too difficult to go back to water. I guess we will see.
Just thought I would update you all on my successes and shortfalls.
