This is a shy question but I have to ask it, when females go through the...uhh....you know that time of the month, wouldn't they become anemic if they didn't eat or something?
Anemia is deficiency, and usually of iron. While fasting the body conserves and 'recycles' all minerals very efficiently. The body can go for weeks, months in some cases, without supplementing them so surviving through mensruation should not be a problem. :)
