Nan, that sounds like an extremely successful flush!
It took me months to get past the pain. Flushing on a regular schedule did show me that the time until the pain came back increased and the level of pain decreased.
Lemons are liver food. Drinking 1/2 a lemon squeezed into a warm mug of water was at my elbo constantly for months. I even kept organic lemons in my desk drawer at work.
On days when the lemon wasn't cutting the pain, I'd come home and drink acv in warm water, sweetened with stevia. If even that didn't work, my next lemon water had a pinch of epsom salts to relax the bile ducts. Sometimes in desperation for some relief, I put all 3 together ... that genreally did the trick!
Keep flushing ... be sure that you are doing parasite cleansing in conjunction with your flushes. I promise there IS light at the end of the tunnel.
- I do in fact drink a warm glass of water with 1/2 lemon, first thing in the morning for my liver. But.. are you saying that if I drink it all day long that will help with the pain too?
My bestfriends hubby had severe gallbladder problems back in the 80s. He got through the days until his surgery with lemon water. That's where I learned the trick. It kept pain that had had me rubbing the tip of my breastbone and my bottom right rib until they were sore, at bay.
And the pinch of epsom - if I do that daily, that won't make my colon lazy will it?
Laxative dose of es is by the tablespoon. How many pinches would that be and spread out over how many days to even get one dose?? It will give a bit of relaxation to your liver's ductwork!!
And the ACV - when I did my apple juice fast, I in fact put a TBS of ACV in each glass, and I think it was effective for the flush, but, I noticed by the end of the second day, my teeth became really sensitive to the touch. They are fine now, but I hesitate to use ACV on a daily basis because I don't want to wear down my tooth enamel. And the day-long use of lemon juice - seems like that would also wear down the enamel. Do you drink your lemon and ACV drinks through a straw? I try to stay away from beverages in plastic.
I didn't take acv on a daily basis. It was rarely needed even twice a week.
No straw, no plastic ... drank out of ceramic or pottery style coffee mugs.
Finally, um, no, I am not doing a parasite cleanse. My naturopath did tell me my sclerology and muscle testing showed parasites: opistorchiasis felineus, borellia burdorferi, and Ascaris lumbricoide. He wanted to me concentrate on working on other things first. I did do a round of Humaworm about 6 months ago.. What kind of parasite cleansing do you recommend?
If you will look at HC protocol, she states there something like "stop parasite cleansing during flush and resume afterwards." It's in her pre-cleanse.
If you'll read Doc Sutter's forum, you'll see his emphasis on the parasite cleansing. He explains that the liver "walls-off" the parasites to keep them from the rest of the body, thus, the congestion and stones. In front of that layer of congestion, more bugs can hatch out and again the liver walls them off ... and so on and so on. This explains the layers that I experienced flushing better than anything else that I've read. Flush, kill the bugs ... flush, kill the bugs ... flush, kill the bugs.
I used MH's Dewormer.
