Not necessarily synthetic, but also "isolated"; void of necessary co-factors. If your body is lacking the co-factors needed for absorption and the the "supplement" you choose to take does not have these co-factors, then the supplement will most likely pass through with very little, if any, absorbed and utilized.
This is what we are trying to get across... most people who have not put literally 1000's of hours into studying it do not understand that the body works synergistically not only from within, but also from without... Fresh air, sun, water, food, etc. etc.
Healthy gut flora to help manufacture vitamins, enzymes and improve nutritional uptake by the body through the intestinal walls, etc. etc.
It all works together...
If you really want a pill I would look at innate response first... there are a few more companies that manufacture "food sourced" vitamins, but again, if these are not "Whole Food" you could be wasting your money, or at best, spending quite a bit more for the same result you would have had with a whole food option.
