Bling,
From previous posts that Fonty has made I knew he would disagree with the use of supplements, which is fine of course, but I would just have one more thing to add here, and that is: that after a relatively short fast, your digestive system hasn't really had the time to shut-down as it would in a lengthy one, and therefore wouldn't take much effort, or time, on the part of the body, to kick-start back into its full state of vigour.
My own personal experience has shown me (along with other supplement users) that there are distinct health-benefits to be had from their consumption over and above what can be obtained from food; even organic raw food alone.
Fonty is quite right of course never to consume anything but water on a fast, and
I think this is the only topic that Fonty and I have ever disagreed on.
Each to their own I suppose.
Regards
Chrisb1.
