Our vet who has taken care of our pets for years, is extremely ill. She has no insurance, and has had to go to the hospital here, that is used to train physicians.
She has been diagnosed with auto immune deficiency, lupus, rheumatoid arthritus, and they want to operate and remove 17 inches
of her colon.
I don't believe that they have found any cancer, so don't understand why the colon surgery.
She has had severe diarrhea for months, and has lost a lot of weight.
I am sure that she being a vet, brings parasites
into the picture.
Is there anything that she can do that will not cost her a bunch of money, to help stop the diarrhea, and at least get some weight back on her?
I feel that she'll die if something isn't done for her.
Please - - can anyone advise me, so I can tell her?
