Congrats on your 14 day fast, and i hope you reach your goal.
You drank Two cups of coffee for the first week. I've just done 3 day fast, but coffee was what i craved, not food.
I read that drinking coffee during a fast is dangerous, because it is a durectic. I was supposed to be doing intensive chiro this week for twisted pelvis, but have to get used to a heel lift first, gradually increasing, as have a discrepancy in leg length also, but that is a different story. Excellent news is, i might be able to exercise again, after 15 years of not being able to when i get this sorted.
Anyway, i now have a two week window, so though i broke my fast, wondering whether to carry on from today. I have already had a coffee today though, but no food. I'm wondering if i cave in and have a coffee occassionally during the week, will it be the end of the world, not ideal, but better than not fasting at all. Maybe drink extra water to compensate. It worked for you, and maybe i'll be properly off it by the end of the weeks fast.
I'm beginning to realise just how addicted i am. Breaking my fast, it was the first thing i did, which i know was wrong.
Do you drink instant black coffee?
I can see Chris and Fonty frowning at this dissaprovingly,lol, but even if i tell myself i can have a coffee if i'm really desperate, and don't, it just helps.
