Yes bling I think that is true.
Shelton is on record as saying that thinner people "tolerate" fasting, better than the more "plethoric individual" (as he put it)!!!
The greatest amount of healing to the body occurs when internal toxemia is minimal or non-existent: the body then doesn't have to spend days and days if not weeks in diverting its energies to "cleaning out".
A clean slate means MAXIMUM healing: that is why second and subsequent medium to long-term fasts are invariably much easier to conduct.
Maximum healing of the body, by the body, only comes from an internally clean environment.
Fat or obese people tend to have less toleration with fasting, as fat reserves are usually diseased or toxemic.
Shelton was astounded at the ability of even severely underweight people to undergo a fast, for sometimes up to 20 to 25 days with only tremendous benefit, when from the outset he thought that they could only manage a few
days at the most.
The body will expend & utilize the minimum of food reserves in the thinner individual in its own innate way as a method of conservation of nutrients.
The body is indeed a miracle of nature.
With the skin being an organ of elimination, I am not sure if that is the last to clear. I expect the body will make up its own mind, and selectively, in order of what it thinks its priorities are.
As far as I am aware, Dr Fuhrman fasted into the 46 to 48 day stage before breaking his fast because of low electrolytes.
I hadn't heard that a mole of his had dropped off. (not in someone else's break-fast juice I hope!!)Ugh !!
