It sounds like you're in a really toxic work environment. How big is your company? The reason I ask is that you have the makings of a harassment complaint. I hope you're documenting each and every incident. Is there an HR department you could go to? If there is, they will tell you to first try to straighten this out with your supervisor. Then if that is unsucessful, take it up with HR. If things get even worse, you could consult with a lawyer. That's one of the reasons documentation is very important. In fact, you could consult with a lawyer anyway and get his/her opinion.
Otherwise, if I were in your shoes, I would start looking around for another job. I know times are tough now that we are in a recession so, depending on what exactly you do for a living, it could take some time.
Twice I've worked for the boss from hell. The first time things got so bad that I just quit. Not the best idea because we were in a recession at that time. However, it turned out to be the best move to make. After 6 weeks without work, I signed on with a temp agency and got a long-term assignment working with some wonderful people. Even though I was making less money, with my well-being at stake, it was worth it. Unfortunately, the job was truly a temp one or I would have stayed on. Soon after I found a permanent job with the best boss I ever had! My commute was longer but everyday I was thankful that she was my boss.
I know that not everyone can just up and quit their job. Besides the loss of income, there are other things to consider such as health insurance. When I quit that first job, it was my husband who had the health insurance for the both of us. So...if you have some savings banked and health insurance isn't a concern, you could consider quitting and using the time to regroup.
Whatever you decide, I wish you luck. Sorry that this post is rambling but I hope it was of some help to you...
