I do not think that it would be useless ... there would still be benefit. But, you must be careful about the detox symptoms...go slowly, and maybe stay at a lower dose for a little while. Be sure to drink a lot of water (a liter per day per 40 lbs is a good rule of thumb).
Also, I have heard about using organic cigarettes as a path to quitting. They actually still put severely addictive additives
into cigarettes to prevent you from quitting. I am not talking about the nicotine, or tar, or whatever, but things like formaldehyde, other chemicals, and a special Sugar
coating on the tobacco leaves that gets absorbed through the lungs very quickly.
