1.) Don't tell anyone that you're doing it; you'll get very little support. You'll be judged and ridiculed.
2.) Don't fast with only orange juice. I'd add the sorghum molasses for sure and the other herb formulas like PICA and Iodine. And of course the LBB. Why? I fasted for 40 days on JUST juice and LBB; I feel I should have gotten better results. I blame it on the quality of the oranges. Needed more minerals! Oh and also dewormer and oregano oil to help kill off the worms and parasites.
3.) Try not to work. Take time off to take care of yourself. I did neither. I worked while fasting and found it difficult. It's a very emotional ride; at least for me it was.
4.) Try to pre-squeeze all of your orange juice for the day when you wake up so that it's ready to go throughout the day. It's really annoying having to squeeze orange juice everytime you want some. I usually had orange juice every one or two hours. My orange juice usually consisted of 1 part distilled water, 1 part juice - or more juice depending on how I was feeling.
5.) If you ever feel ill, it might because you need to have a bowel movement. The LBB is VERY important. There were times when I felt very ill and then felt totally fine just after having the bowel movement.
6.) Do the sitz bath while fasting - what's this? basically sit in a hot bath for an hour to work up a great sweat - drinking hot tea while in the bath helps too - and then run ice cold water on your bum / anus for 15 minutes - apparently this helps restore proper circulation and flow of waste down and out of the body - also restores the nerves - all as per MH.
