I used blood root salve a couple years ago with very good results. Back then I was using the 'indian herb', which is mainly blood root, with a few other herbs and zinc chloride. Now when I use blood root, it's just the powder.
I had a growth on my finger that to me, looked cancerous. It did not heal, it changed color, even daily, changed from red to blueish (I think, can't remember the colors now...but it did change them). Anyway, I put the salve on it with vasoline for 2 days, then kept it washed and covered for about a week. And the lesion just dried up and dropped off. Underneath was nice new healthy looking skin. I was very happy! The lesion has not returned, and you can't even tell where it was...no scarring.
I also used the salve internally (just a small amount in a capsule) for short periods, maybe 3 weeks at a time. It helped the sense of fullness I had in my stomach quite a bit.
Now, I'm starting to use it again, just the powder. But it's not consistantly yet. I find I have to eat a fairly heavy meal in order to not be nauseous....and I often try to eat light....so, not sure how to incorporate it yet...we'll see.
