Your question: The Tub says industrial grade..and its shows the signs for it being dangerous, if you get it in your eyes, or on the skin..
Even though we dilute it, it does concern me to take a substance internally that shows the signs of being a dangerous substance on the outside!
you can understand my hesitance!
Answer: Of course your are refering to Calcium Hydroxide !
And it is correct to use caution in mixing the stock Solution, because it is so Powerful !
If it was not so Powerful, how do you think it would be able to accomplish all the Powerful Benefits it does for those using it in the very Dilute Solution, who are providing the Success Testimonials ?
Now let us compare it to some other house hold items "YOU" may use every day: Table Salt, would you put it in your eyes?
How about Bleach, would you put it in your eyes?
What about window washing solution, which contains Ammonia, would you put it in your eyes ?
Or what about Garlic juice, would you put it in your eyes?
Or what about cayanne pepper, would you put it in your eyes?
Or what about any of the oils you use to cook with, would you put them in your eyes after they are Boiling, maybe if you wanted Boiled eyes instead of Boiled(Fried) eggs?
Yet, you may use any of the above and give it little thought, but you do not put these items in your eyes either?
Do you begin to see what I am talking about ?
Calcium Hydroxide is a very Powerful form of Calcium, which is so Powerful, that it should not be gotten in the eyes, which are tender and need moisture or they may become damaged, and the Calcium Hydroxide will React with moisture and Release Great amounts of heat, which could Damage the eyes in this initial reaction !
Now, after this initial Reaction with water, the Calcium Hydroxide may no longer Cause this Great amount of Heat to be Released, thus it is "NO" longer a problem in this regards !
This is "WHY" we pre-mix it in water for a Dilute stock Solution, of which we now use from for our Positive Benefits of Healing !
And here is a Link where the Food Industry uses it all the time in the foods you eat every day and you did not know about it:
Mant times it may be good for us to use some "Common sense" ?
Edit: And what about Clean Safe Water?
Do you think it would be a good idea to stick your head in a bucket full of Clean Safe Water and open your eyes and Breath it in?
Opening the eyes may be ok in the water, but you surely will Die by trying to Breath it in, if you keep your head under the water for long enough time to Drown yourself?
So, even the Safe Clean Water may not be so safe if abused in the wrong way !
Smile Tis your choice.
