O.K. That explains the ep. cells showing up so nicely.
Candida or any fungal organism will generally be easy to spot. You will see the little spore things and multiple branching--like plants.
These images are more consistent with reaction with conditions under glass and heat {from light}.
It does look like the saliva may be rich with a chemical metabolite.
Is there any unusual taste or phenomenon going on in your mouth?
