I grow in soil, all of my growing i have done with wheatgrasskits.com because they make it so easy.. it is however much more expensive than it could be im sure.. i dont plant in the ground because i dont have a yard, just a balchony. I use the trays they provide in the kits,, its a great way to get started, but i bet after the first kit its better to go somewhere else for price..

i would use a tray instead of the ground even if i had a yard i think..
