thanks! You are soooooo right!!
I got this Philodendrum plant I just put near my computer at work now- and I have been noticing a BIG difference in my moods during the Winter by using a full-spectrum lightbulb in my light near the computer too.
We have a very dark gloomy office with only flourescent lighting in the ceiling tiles for us workers. The owner, his wife and son all work in very light areas with a window for each of them in different parts of the building of course- away from the lead, alcohol, and other toxins from the shop.
The rest of us slaves work in gloom and toxicity. The plant already is perking things up in my department, and I've been addicted to that light with the full spectrum bulbs.-- i have a spare bulb for when that one burns out.
Also, you're right about color. The colors in our office are dingy white, brown and charcoal grey carpeting on concrete floors. The upholstry on the chairs is a charcoal grey polyester. I made sure to put up a beautiful colorful calendar all with Tropical beach photos- and I carried the blue/green/coral red, aqua coloring into the desk with various accessories picking up these colors. Even my garbage can is now a cobalt blue-- (only $1.00 at the Dollar General store) Color really does make a BIG difference. It affects you more than you realize.
I got one of those back support plastic thingies you stick on your chair that make you sit up right- I think it's called "Bio-Bac". they sell it for $19.99 over at the
http://www.heritage.com catalog where they have all the Edgar Cayce inspired stuff.
And now since reading MH's booklet -- I make sure I get outside on every break and eat outside for lunch- just to get out of the building.
Kevin Trudeau in his "Natural Cures' Book also mentions to walk at least an hour a day to ground yourself from the electro-magnetic chaos (computers, phones, etc)
So i am starting to do that now too. --- all to help myself cope with the stifling society we have to work in- and it is making such a difference already.
The plant Idea you mention is a great one especially-- I do believe plants have a type of intelligence and they most definitely react to love or hate.
Kevin Trudeau even brings this point out in his book-- so now im sending out thoughs of love to all the trees in our yard!
Hugs, Boldyloxx
