I still have a few grapes up high, not many, but a few. The grape vine can supply over 1 months free food with the greatest of taste.
We have had record breaking heat recentally and I noticed the Fall leaves have started regardless. Nature goes by te MOON more than the tempature.
This Thursday a cold wave is suppose to hit with a high temp of 62, more like normal weather, but will feel freezing after days in the 90's.
Apple Cider is reaching premium soon, now is the time to stock away 50 gallons for 2008.

This is a reply to # 1,017,609I buy a gallon of juice, pour out 1 pint and put into a deep freezer. You can buy a 6 foot long freezer for less than $500.00. Stock it with apple juice each October. Stock it with cans of frozen juice made with grape sugar and NOT CORN SYRUP and have your self a 5 gallon water distiller. You can drink your apple juice pure whe you dethaw it or dilute it with distilled water.
I for myself put 1 drop of pure oregano oil in each gallon of apple juice before I freeze it.
