Especially when you are attempting to self treat as I am.
So I am reading as much of the information as I can handle at a time from the faq pages on both
Iodine forums. I realize now that I should probably hold off for a while until I finish the cleansing process I have been on for the past 2 weeks ( I guess I am about half way through) and I will be finishing up with a liver flush.
I have been reading up this morning on the extra supplementation that will I need and am trying to write down a protocol for myself for when I do begin in earnest. One of the supplements of course is magnesium. I love magnesium, but I have a really hard time with it because it turns my bowels to liquid. (Can't think of a more delicate way to put it.) I imagine that this must mean that I don't utilize it or absorb it very well and am hoping that after completeing the lower
Bowel Cleanse that maybe my body will tolerate it more successfully. I know I need it because I have a tendency to cramp and I have occasionally gotten some good results from soaking my feet in
Epsom Salts .
Lately I have been eating a huge amount of strong leafy greens like spinach, chard, collard greens, Kale, dark lettuces and sprouts etc. in the hopes that I will get the correct ratio of magnesium/calcium that way and thereby not be having that effect from taking it as a supplement.
I have decided to go with the detoxified organic
Iodine but I have now realized that it is a considerably weaker formula than the lugols. I just like the idea of organic and plant based stuff. So I have been trying to find out the amount to take that would equal one drop of lugols. It seems that 1 drop of mine is only a bit more than 1/12 of a drop of
Lugols or something like that. I haven't done the math yet and i might just email the company for some further advice on dosage. They said to start slowly with just a drop for the first week and then increase one drop at a time each week thereafter to discover the optimal dose.
Some of the more technical writings I have tried to absorb are difficult for me to understand - I have am overly right brained I think and my eyes do glaze over when reading formulas and technical stuff like that.
Sorry to be so needy of advice friends - I just want to do it the right way - and there are soooooo many details to learn about and attend to. And I want to get WELL! ....AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
I am wondering if anyone here can provide any further enlightenment about this subject. Mainly the magnesium problem. I have orded some himalayan
Sea Salt to use for the salt loading I have been reading about. Seems to the the most pure? I hope? Since I have already ordered it.
All of this healing is expenive but not as expensive as having some deadly debilitating disease
