Good info. I know or think, at least, that Waterwise makes the best distillers. Have looked at the model 1600 for a long time. Guess reason I havent invested in one is because of all the controversy over losing esssential minerals the body needs. I suppose one could supplement trace minerals plus the major ones if that, indeed, were a real problem. I don't know. I also read MH saying you can get your minerals from fruit and plant life, If I have one thing that I have done that has had immediate good results in how I feel it is drinking distilled water. Usually I buy it from WalMart. Then there is the issue of the plastic in the jug leaching into the water. My water is good but is chlorinated, so that makes it not good. It has a ph of 7. What I do NOT understand is why motor boats are allowed on our lakes, and I live near lots of them that are drinking water supplies. I know the municipal water plants filter, but how can you filter all the petroleum products out of the water? this has always been a concern of mine. I have been down to the lake when I could actually see the stuff floating on the water because of so many motor boats. Then there is one place on the lake of drinking water supply where you can swim and the other side you can't!! It just doesn't compute. Well, this may be off the subject of water distillers.
