Starting at about age 21 my dentist noticed receeding gums and told me I was brushing too hard and to brush softer. I dont know if I was brushing soft enough but over the years my gums have been receeding in only certain areas. Now I have a few places that really hurt when I brush over and around them. I am not able to go to a dentist right now but would like to know if its possible that I have an infection that is causing the pain or possibly an infection causing the receeding gums?
Both my husband and I have been having more sensitive teeth since eating more fruit. Could be the acidity in the fruit?
Im a little worried. I dont want to loose any teeth. Can receeding gums lead to tooth loss?

MoreThis is a reply to # 100,452The tooth gums take a beating and you can brush them too hard and a few do. I would suggest the main problem is the entire body has tissue problems and your just noticing it in the gum area. The Christopher tooth powder formula works well, you wnat the powder, not the paste I make for my kids.
This powder supplies the body and gums with plenty of calcium and minerals and may be enough, otherwise you will have to restore the stomach and alloe the body to heal as a whole.

This is a reply to # 100,485We try to sell by the pound, but will sale anysize a customer wants. You may have to call back for a price because Brenda doesn't know prices for special orders. When people read and understand what they want to try, they spend far less money. I have seen many people buy herbal products and store them in their closet and never use them, to me that is such a waste.

This is a reply to # 100,452Dr. Christopher has a product called herbal tooth powder, it will help to stop receeding gums. Just moisten some of the powder and make it into a doughy consistensy, then roll it into a worm and place it between gums and teeth, leave in as long as possible. repeat every day till gums are healthy again.
