Hi, the standards for the designation "Organic" are not globally standardized, so the degree of purity and lack of pesticides of food labeled as organic depends on where the food was produced.
The EU is different from the US and from Canada. In some countries, normal non-organic food is grown in healthier conditions than in another country where it is labeled organic.
That being said, especially given the usual price difference between organic and non-organic fruits and vegetables, I wouldn't discourage you to fast with non-organic produce. Just rinse it thoroughly.
