eft, remembering sin

I'm listening to a WorldTalkRadio broadcast on EFT and the man being interviewed:Rick Wilkes from thrivingnow.com made a comment that remembering means to recreate. Literally recreating the sensation, the physicalness of an event as well as just the flat memory of it. So my mind immediately went to the scripture that when we repent and come unto Christ and he forgives us, then he remembers the sin no more.
In this case then remembering the sin - from the Savior's standpoint is recreating the suffering he did in the garden of Gethsemane for every sin of every person. He felt it physically and emotionally. If we repent, confess, give up the sin, restore as much as possible and ask God to forgive us then thru the power of the atonement (don't know how that works) the physical and emotional charge of that sin going back and forward in time forever is not "recreated, relived, remembered." The strong emotion is released. The debt is paid. But right at this moment God is not carrying stored pain and emotion, so there must be something working in the space/time continuum that we don't understand that when I repent now, it is released and not remembered for eternity backward and forward.
Anyway, its something interesting to ponder. We can remember a terrible event in our life without it having a disabling effect on us. So of course God remembers every event in our life including every sin, but the emotional/physical charge of that sin is released and not remembered by Him when we repent. Maybe. I don't know for sure. But I do know for certain that every sin places us farther from our source, farther from life, farther from health, farther into suffering.
