EFT experiences

I guess I will learn how this works as I go along.
I'm less than a week into learning EFT and I want to write down all my experiences so they can be learning tools for me.
When I just had learned the basic recipe, I used that on DD20 to get rid of her cramps. It took about 5 minutes.
DS17 had trouble breathing and congestion before going to bed. His polarity was switched and kept switching, so it was taking much longer as we repeated the basic recipe. He also learned it enough to do it on his own and fix an itchy rash on his arms and to lessen the congestion so he could sleep. We used the hook-up to correct the polarity. It seemed to work well and better than the set-up.
I began tapping just once per night for DH for his not-sound sleeping and snoring. We couldn't really tell if it was helpful. On the 3rd evening, the tapping just seemed to be annoying and offensive even tho I had learned some shortcuts. He doesn't seem to be open anymore to it. I will back off. DH polarity always seems to be flowing just fine whenever I test with my biotensor
I began the first day tapping on myself for red/itchy eyes and grass allergies, warts, and lessening vision that requires bifocals. These are things I would like to fix. Not much difference the first few days.
Then I learned the collarbone breathing technique and did this on myself. During the breathing technique I could feel the itching eyes become better and then after tapping the shortcut again for red eyes, they were not red anymore. So apparently I needed it for anything to work. I will continue to use the shortcuts for tapping on all of these issues.
After walking/running and getting a sidestitch, tapping the shortcuts helped eliminate the sidestich in about 5 seconds. I'm not sure if it would have gone away this fast normally.
My question right now is, how long does the collarbone breathing technique work. Am I going to need to do it everyday?
I'm still watching Gary Craigs videos at this point.
