It's alright. We all have these days. Im on day 4 of the mc(using mollasses instead of syrup because Im a diabetic), day 5 of no food, and yesterday, I sware, I was 5 seconds away from bingeing on popcorn at the movies. But I stuck with it and I can't tell you how glad I am that I did! And Im already down 10 pounds! Woooohoooo! Im hoping to get to 10 days too, maybe even longer depending on how I feel and how much weight I lose. Today I feel pretty good. But the first few days were absolute torture. On day 3, I woke up feeling like I was on my death bed! But after a good long nap I was feeling much better.
Just take it easy, and try and stay away from all food temptations. Reading other peoples blog, especially the people who have been doing it a lot longer than me, always helps. I make it a top priority. Also, for cravings, I find it really helps to eat a few spoonfulls of bsm. But since your probably using maple syrup you would use that instead. Works everytime for me!
You'll get there, and will be very glad that you did. Food will always be there when you are done. This is your time to do something good for you body. Dont squander it. Your worth this.
