Day 2
so far so good!
Date: 8/16/2007 9:14:42 PM ( 16 y ) ... viewed 1560 times i was a little worried about the tea affecting me too strongly so i skipped the salt water flush this morning. i had too many errands to run and had to work... bathroom trips needed to be limited! unfortunately, since i didn't have all of my tea last night, i didn't have any BMs throughout the entire day!! at least that's what i'm blaming it on. i could feel my stomach "moving" all day, but no trips to the toilet for me (except for peeing - which i did quite a bit of!)
unfortunately, i was so turned off by all the cayenne pepper that i put in the drink yesterday i chickened out and didn't put any in today's bottle. by the end of the day it was tasting pretty bland so i'll make sure to put some in tomorrow's dose.
i know temptations won't be a problem for me - i'm motivated enough to get myself through this, but i've never been much of a water drinker so i'm having trouble consuming a lot of the lemonade solution. i had 32oz today, but that was with lots of chugging... tomorrow my goal is 40 :)
the tea is rough for me too - it's not so much the actual taste that bothers me, but the aftertaste makes me want to throw up... i just finished tonight's "dose" - did it in 3 large sips to eliminate how many times i'd have to suffer through the aftertaste... kept telling myself that the faster i finished the tea the faster i could brush my teeth to get rid of the flavor!
i can feel my tummy moving, so hopefully i'll be able to go to the bathroom tonight - or at least after tomorrow's salt water flush.
