Well, it's day two and i'm doing great. Overall i can see my skin is already clearing up, as i always get acne before my period. So those blemishes are all drying up and fading already. ALSO, I DID NOT GET MENSTRUAL CRAMPS! Let's see, it's been like 7 years, and i almost always get them, but nada. So that was pleasant....
Today i went to Whole Foods and stuck to my grocery list.... epsom salts, veggie broth vegetables, bentonite, coffee (enema), and OF COURSE toilet paper. My sweetie was getting our usual favorites however, so i felt a moment of missing food. It was shortlived though, and I'm really happy I'm doing what I'm doing. I mean, i'll be able to eat when this is done right? I know i have the will power to wait a couple weeks. I'm sure food will taste all the better and be absorbed into my body more readily.
So i'm really excited for my vegetable broth!! It's simmering right now, and it smells heavenly in here. mmmMMMMMMmmmm. I'm cooking potatoes, carrots, celery, onion, garlic, parsley, bay leaves, and a nice strip of kombu seaweed. When it's done I'm gonna add a touch of miso, strain it and drink it down!! Sounds like dinner to me people :-)
I also made some master cleanse lemonade to drink today, and that was quite nice as well. I think it's very helpful to keep things fresh and exciting when you're on a cleanse. i started a journal for myself too just to keep track of my good feeling so i can keep seeing that and let it be motivation for the future.
well, i best tend to my broth! I've never been so excited for broth before, deeeelish!
thanks for reading and best of luck to all of you out there cleansing as well :-)
