Feeling Great Already...

Well, after all of these years - 37 - I don't take small progress lightly. One of these days I'll start something and months later realize that I kept it up. The amount of times I've made it even this far over the past three years is mayby two out of 40. My friends out there with weight problems know what I'm talking about. Making it to the third day is way harder than getting from day three to day 10. The few times I've gotten to day three, I've usually made it much further. So, anyway, I'm feeling good right now.
I'm really lucky to have such great food outlets here in the city. Two Whole Foods in less than a 2 miles. I'm eating a "fruit salad" from a food cart outside my apartment right now. A Cosi two blocks away with the best salads ever. I even live near a place called Ceareality which is essentially a cereal eatery. They have great oatmeal. Right now, these are the things I am eating.
I'm really happy with the plan and the way it is laid out. I'm very confident I'll make my goal of 278 by Saturday. In fact, I suspect it could be lower. Then, the Juice Fast. Wow, I'm excited. I think it will be a huge moment in my life. If I can do 14 days, and lose 15 lbs (my prediction) that will be an outstanding START. Then, the final 13 lbs in the five weeks leading up to September 1. You see, I've worked at colleges my whole life, and if there is anything you learn at schools, September is a sort of NEW YEARS DAY. That is why I'd like to make that the target date.
I may repeat the goals over and over again, but it is part of my process. I'm reminding myself what the plan is on a daily basis. The goals are clear.
