will strenghten eye lashes if use regularly
1 tablespoon beeswax
5 drops sweet almond oil
2 drops alder tincture
1 drop lemon essential oil
heat beeswax in a small bowl/ OVER simmering water
when melted add the almond oil
allow mixture to cool slightly til it BEGINS to solidify
add tinctures and essential oils
transfer to a small screwtop jar
(will look like a gel )
apply a small amount with ring finger best or pinky
do not apply too much just a bare light coat
or eyelashes will stick together.
can get beeswax etc.. at
eyebright wash for tired eyes
pickup for tired eyes/ helps reduce inflammation
1 teaspoon eyebright herb
1 teaspoon chickweed herb
2 tablespoons boiling water
boil water, let begin to cool
then pour while still hot/warm over herbs.
allow to steep at least 10 minutes
but no more than 20 or the chickweed will become bitter.
strain and cool.
apply either way..
using an eye bathing cup,
or apply to
2 100% cotton balls
and put one on each eye
if you have an eye infection,
use new pads if reapply,
and/ or empty eyebath cup and rinse off before repeating.
if you cool this infusion before using it,
it will help tighten eye capillaries
thus resting and soothing them.
dark circles under eyes
Linden (or lime flowers)
make good strong steeped tea from these,
and use throughout day , with a clean cotton ball work
under eyes and on inner nose
any other discolorations also (liver spots etc)
parsley water/ i like parsley water, with 1/2 lemon and
a few drops fennel seed oil and a couple drops almond oil
i make this up about once a week and keep in fridge,
then apply with cotton ball carefully on hands and face..
i use it after washing my face as a toner and being careful
not to get the juice dripping in my eyes.
i rub this into corners of eyes etc/ just not dipping off cotton ball 8) if you use this as a cold rinse on face after washing ,
it makes a super pore tightener.
fennel seed is also great for reducing wrinkles
deseed a cucumber and and blend with juice of 1/2 lemon.
apply this as a face mask/ but work it under eyes carefully
so juice doesn't get in eyes
this is a fantastic lightener and toner mask.
leave on 15-20 minutes then wash off face..
do this maybe once every 5 days...
might just use like 1/2 a cucumber.. then use rest in a salad or so
dark circles under eyes can also indicate that you may have congested kidneys:
consider doing a kidney stone dissolve flush
and also get good rest and drink lots of water.
get better sun without sunblock, and hold face up to sunlight
10 min at least per day if able.
recheck your diet.. you can start /allieviate symptoms
