This charismatic speaker and teacher lived right before the Internet blossomed. Much of his Chi raising ideas are percolating through the Innernet of thought. I'm so happy to see some of his ideas that were commonly known by him and his predecessors beginning to seep into the knowledge base among the Faces of the New Medicine.
Dr Bernard Jensen recognized that every part of the body was influenced by the health of the bowel. Through practices of bowel cleansing he was able to show dramatic healing.
The great integrators of our day are now proving connections between the brain, the gut and the health of the soil. Dr Jensen in some of his books shows pictures of dramatic skin lesions and psoriasis, as an example, that were healed through bowel cleansing.
I came to study, live, and ghost write a number of his books in trade for his sharing his nature wisdom with me.
Last November, at Shamini Jain's Consciousness and Healing Initiative Post conference following AIHM Annual Conference in San Diego, I couldn't help but think of Dr. Jensen when they began to discuss nature's finer forces, as he called them, that now are being re-introduced as Biofield science.
Dr. Jensen had a museum of some of the outlawed apparatus utilized by various Masters of color healing therapeutics. He would love to give special evening presentations about the work he had discovered.
He was my spiritual father and influenced my worldview.
When people came to see him at his Hidden Valley Health Ranch Escondido, he insisted that people spend at least three days in nature before they came into his office,
50% of their symptoms disappeared simply by slowing down to the beat of nature, he often said.
Portions of the land where he lived are still on the market, up for sale. It's my dream but they fall into the right hands.
San Diego is the perfect place to continue what Dr. Jensen and others called the American health sanitarium tradition, I.e, taking people in need of healing into natural surroundings,
His health ranch was the last resort for many, including myself. Out lives were returned to us through his nature teachings.
One year, Dr. Jensen was the keynote speaker at the annual Pacific College of Oriental Medicine - San Diego #PacificSymposium.
I put in a call to Jack Miller, The president, and asked if I might introduce Dr. Jensen at his keynote. Jack said yes. The Pacific College has been part of my healing community ever since that event probably 20 years ago.
