Date: 7/31/2015 8:50:56 AM ( 10 y ) ... viewed 508 times SO I decided last week to start a water fast and started cutting down on my food portions. And completely eliminated junk food. On sunday I ate lot of veggies and fruits - veggie soup and fruit juice. And started reducing the food intake. I saw that fasting is much easier process when we cut down on meat and dairy for the most part. a cup of milk may be okay but it's better to completely eliminate it as we get close to the fast date. The perfect way would be to start with fruit and veggies and cutting down day by day. Couple days before the fast day natural fruit juice and green tea preferred. I did cheat twice or thrice with some vegetable curry but overall I think I finished the first step successfully. I hope to detox my body as well as lose the weight I gained in last year and half. I have always been 122-124 lbs since I was 20 years old. But recently I gained lot of weight owing to many factors. I decided to change my dietary habits and increase more physical activity after the water fast. So this time I will be sharing my water fast experience every step of the way . I'm 28 and I'm 5'8"
