How many people do I meet who are willing to go to the gym every day and do different forms of training. Of these how many are willing to spend their money on high quality minerals and supplements. Of course these things are good.
The moment the idea of fasting, even intermittently, for most people is a simple no. It is not popular. It is not understood, in fact the art of fasting is very misunderstood.
We have all had habits or "addictions" of different kind that we have either changed or kept. Some of these are beneficial while others are destructive.
Rarely does the average person they consider they have a eating addiction. They are not hungry from having low body fat and on the verge of starvation. They are not even experiencing the effects of ketosis as they are eating several times a day and not near the state of burning fat as a constant fuel.
This is not a knock meant to speak down to people, for we are in general a condition of our society. What is told to us is what is sold to us. Currently those who are the minds such as people who go out of their way to find sites such as this have slowly returned to the earth. We have step by step made our way towards our health and continue the journey together. When we find one another we experience joy we are not alone.
When enough people understand something the rest begin to follow. This could be said to be a law, but I will not get into that here. It remains to be the people thinking outside of the box and looking for real answers are the leaders in many ways of people who want to remain sheltered and listen to only one medium of information. Our results are proof and we shine. We are often talked about behind our back as being weird, conspiracy theorists, God fanatics, or even crazy.
At the same time we are highly respected though we are less often told those words.
Our strength is that we are indeed influential, and we do it as we wish to heal. As we have experienced healing on multiple levels, we wish this for our brothers and sisters as well. Our motives our clear and simple.
To see us as weak is a common mistake. We may be peaceful but our voice is strong and can be like the wind beneath our brother to help. We were once helped so now we become help itself.
And so I speak of fasting. Usually change happens when someone is frustrated or even better angry at their current condition. Rarely will someone stop drinking alcohol until they are determined by seeing the damages it has caused for them to stop.
It is not widely known that food and sugar are nothing less than addictions for most people. If one can stop eating they can stop any other bad habit. It is like cutting the head off of the dragon and not fighting its feet first.
So you want to learn about fasting, one must have the will it is so beneficial they would put themselves through it. Before they have experienced the power of fasting this will can be difficult as questions will constantly come up from our ego. Once we know the power of fasting, our will is naturally solid.
To learn about fasting is to learn about anything. It is done by practicing in small amounts at first. I would contend that any mammal on planet earth that cannot comfortably fast for 24 hours is not in a strong state of health. Most people do not consider this, and if they do they are not willing to take this seriously enough to train it.
Fasting trains so many things within the cells and body I will not get into them all now. Intitially one must train the insulin hormonal response in my opinion. They have never let this hormone rest and be still, thus it does not properly regulate itself.
In addition, our bodies are being competed for. We can call them ours, but these are really the homes within which we dwell. Multiple "things" wish to dwell in this home as well. They wish us to have an acidic pH and feed lots of sugars so they may survive.
There is much too this, but the concept is important. Fasting takes back our home. Learning to fast is done in small increments starting often with only 12 hours (including sleep) with no food.
I would love the art to become popular. The world would indeed be a more aligned place and the tipping point will be reached when enough understand the power of this technique.
