"...Some notion of the significance of such a Dialogue can be found in reports of hunter-gather bands of about this size, who, when they met to talk together, had no apparent agenda nor any predetermined purpose. Nevertheless, such gatherings seemed to provide and reinforce a kind of cohesive bond or fellowship that allowed its participants to know what was required of them without the need for instruction or much further verbal interchange. In other words, what might be called a coherent culture of shared meaning emerged within the group. It is possible that this coherence existed in the past for human communities before technology began to mediate our experience of the living world."
Professor Dennis Klocek has said "Dialogue is the new community". The above quoted paragraph gives some indication of that. Communication has been identified as the basis for community and well illustrated in "The Different Drum" by Scott Peck. Bohm's "On Dialogue" penetrates the truth of this to a degree that I find greater validation for my own convictions of the essential requirement that a "search for truth" be included within any communication that may have any impact on our lives whatsoever.
CHEETA's "cultural healing" originally was stated as "community healing". In either case it all comes down to healing communication!

Listening is largely what dialogue is all about.

Underscored my convictions on dialogue as the superior form of communication and therefore if "communication is life" then dialogue is the superior life!
Also appreciating the gift of understanding and inspired to search the Gene Keys in this regards.

mentioned in "reports of hunter-gather bands" above here at the: October 11, 2014 entry
"... That which is devoid of content is the equivalent of Innocence."
Therefore I conclude that innocence is a required quality for dialogue. And in this moment of writing this it comes to me that anyone serving the function of a mediator needs to begin with this quality and inviting the participants into accessing this quality within them in preparation for dialogue. Otherwise "the door to psychopathy is left open."
Also Re: "the essential requirement that a "search for truth'" is a quality that might be considered as "healthy skepticism" as that supports the inquiring nature of dialogue.
