Day 7 Water Fast

Well this is Day 7 and I am still on the water fast. I woke up today with lots of energy for some reason so I decided to go for a jog. I jogged my usual 6 km with absolutely no weakness at all! I am not feeling hungry at all and my stomach is not growling. My tongue is white still which is a good sign of detoxing. I made a mistake yesterday and took some tylenol due to a headache without thinking! I had a headache probably from withdrawal from caffeine so I should have just suffered through it but I forgot haha. Anyway, today I have a slight headache but did not take any medication.
I went to see my doctor today and my blood pressure is good. I am not dehydrated at all and my resting pulse rate is 48 which is still pretty normal for not eating. My doctor is still on board with this fast. It is important to mention that I never do a fast without the support of a doctor. The reason for this is because while your not eating you cannot afford to be dehydrated too. These two conditions together could be fatal. Therefore I always touch base with my doctor several times during my fast. And the other very important point about a fast is to ensure that when your hunger comes back, that you obey your body and begin to eat again. Eat raw foods only for at least 3 days. You can add juice to this diet as well. If you find that you are turned off by a certain food, then listen to your body and do not eat that. I found after completing my 17 day fast that I could not eat any dairy products for a while. My body was extremely turned off of this food group but I would crave eggs with no milk, raw vegetables and fish or chicken. After that I went to a nutritionist and had my blood type compared to the food that I should eat and guess what? I found that my blood type should be eating mostly proteins like fish and chicken, not dairy and very little starches!!! So hmmmm perhaps after a detox your body can tell you exactly what you should and should not eat. It is up to us to listen!
Ok so the last time I weighed myself was yesterday and I was 238. So in those 6 days I lost 12 pounds. These results are crappy compared to my other fast!! But I am going to stick to this regardless until I am hungry.
For those that need the support and want a fasting buddy, the answer is yes I will support you if you message me. I know the first few times I did this it was scary to see the side affects. Now I am at peace with what I go through so I wouldn't mind helping others.
My postive side affects so far from my fasts are that I have been able to get rid of my belly quite affectively compared to others that are the same weight as myself. My skin is tight and does not show any sagging at all even though I have lost 77 pounds all together. Also I have not gained any weight back. My skin is clear, my asthma has gone down to using my puffers HALF as much as I used to. My skin is more pink and healthy. I have no pain in my knees anymore. I used to limp when I walked so this is a drastic change for me since now I am able to jog 6 km with no pain, when before I could not walk without extreme pain!!!
So there are lots of benefits if you do this fasting thing correctly. If you just decide not to eat and you dont consume enough water, you could find yourself in a fight for your life. If you come off the fast and eat the wrong foods, this could also cause you health concerns, so I suggest to research water fasting like I did and stick to protocol. If you do, you will find that the benefits far way out the negatives!!! I tried everything to lose weight and was never successful for long. This time, doing a fast for about every 20 pounds I lose has made me more energetic, positive and has allowed me to safely lose the weight.
