This ties is well with the information on pain hypersensitivity by Clifford J. Woolf (Director of the Neural Plasticity Research Group. Department of Anethesia and Critical Care, Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School): http://www.wellcome.ac.uk/en/pain/microsite/science4.html

One day I will write a list of all the supplements etc. which seem to be working for me best but I need to road test them first.
Given I am now fructose/fructan/polyol intolerant, only a strict LOW FODMAP DIET is working for me.
If I have something containing fructose/fructans or polyols by accident, then it is 3 1/2 to 4 days of painful stomach cramps, extreme belching and diarrhea before my system resolves.
I must reiterate that before the protozoal infection, I could eat anything, happy as Larry.
