What its all about

I did a 5 day fast and it was easy. Going to continue and do another fast, this time I would like to see how long I can go.
The last time I weighed myself I was down to 226 pounds, my average high weight was around 240-245 pounds, so I have made some progress. But have a long ways to go.
I had a nice body but in my 20's I gained a lot of weight and was obese since. Now I am reaching my mid-30's and haven't really felt like I have been living life since being fat. It's hard to date, make friends and feel good about myself.
And I used to look so good, now my body is a complete wreck. I don't know if I'll ever look as good as I did in my early 20's but I want to see how much I can improve my appearance.
My plan is to do a lot of fasting and try low fat vegan diets.
Once I shed the excess weight, I want to tone up. Start running and maybe take up kickboxing to build muscle.
I have a long ways to go, but I calculated that by May 2012, I should be around my goal weight (120). I will still need to tone up then.
