This is not my first time fasting as I have done a few shorter ones my longest being 30 days. I have lost weight through fast starting my first fast over a year ago at 350lbs, I got down to 278 with fasting but have put weight back on this year due to stress. I am now 302 lbs, I am hoping through fasting to take back control of my bad eating habits and get my weight down to 226 or less by the end of the fast on new years eve. And then after continue with a healthy diet to lose the remaining weight to get down to my goal weight of 145 lbs ( I am 5'9" tall) This is half way through day one an so far I am doing fine, just a little tired.
