Day 1 of my 30 day juice fast

Date: 8/1/2011 6:32:51 PM ( 14 y ) ... viewed 1281 times Well after much preparation the night before I started which I feel to be a great way to change my existence.
My morning started out with the following:
1 green apple
1 orange
10 grapes
5 strawberries, juiced, than blended with 1/2 banana.
Not to mention a tbsp of a colon cleanse.
As to my surprise, it didn't taste bad. I have decided to do a fruit juice in the am and then follow up with a total of 3 veggie juices throughout the day.
I did this as I heard combining fruits and veggies cause gas and bloat.
Today my 3 juices were:
3 chutes of kale
1 cucumber
5 carrots
4 celery..hmmmmm......not so bad.
Throughout the day, I consumed approx 65 oz of water.
Day wasn't do bad, had some hunger growls, and used the restroom about 6 times. I know this is gross, but as far as BMs..I think I a pretty regular (Once or twice a day)
I have found that I sure have ALOT of NON-supportive friends. It appears that they all have a PhD in front of their names and think that I just decide out of a whim to do this....not! I have done much research, I consider this a kick start to a healthly cleanse/weight loss and I will soon continue to hit the gym and follow up with a healthy diet.
