Preparation for Stage One
Stages of my Fast
Date: 6/29/2010 7:59:36 AM ( 14 y ) ... viewed 10482 times So it's been about 10 days since my last post, and I have put on 3.8lbs. Which is so surprising seeing that I have been eating non stop. Am wondering if it is because I am slowly starting to incorporate virgin coconut oil into my diet. For the last two days I have fried some potatoes in coconut oil, and they tasted really good. Not sure if its because potatoes themselves taste great, or because of the added coconut flavour.
Anyway, in order to continue with my mission of losing 28lbs through juice fasting, I am creating some stages. They will be as follows:
Stage 1 - 10st (140lbs)
Stage 2 - 9st 6lbs (132lbs)
Stage 3 - 9st (126lbs)
Stage 4 - 8st 8lbs (120lbs)
At present I am 10st 8.2lbs (148.2lbs). 28lbs loss = 8st 8lbs (120lbs) for me.
On another note, I am going sailing for the first time this weekend, which should be an interesting experience. I was wondering whether or not to do a juice fast this week seeing as I would need my strength for sailing. Always with the excuses!
I made a semi-start today by having juice for breakfast. Had tuna and sweetcorn roll for lunch, and at 2pm now, am having a lollipop - just happened to find one in my bag so am utilising it!
It is interesting how the fat in coconut oil could be helping my metabolism to work faster. Any interested parties should google virgin coconut oil and then read the testimonials and you will see what I am referring to.
I will give myself easy targets for this week. I hope to be at around 10st 6lbs/7lbs by the end of this week, and then I can continue to focus properly on my stages as above.
So current weight, 10st 8.2lbs.
