Post Fast Day 1 & 2

Date: 4/30/2009 3:16:31 PM ( 12 y ) ... viewed 2293 times Yesterday i decided it was time to stop. my first day off i had a juice in the morning, fruit for lunch (bananas, watermelon and strawberries) and then carrots and tomatoes for dinner. i ran 4 miles. we went out to a comedy club and i had a few beers which wasnt part of the plan but i was ok with it. i had herbal tea when i got home. today has been juice and fruit again with some raw nuts and dried prunes. tonight i will have salad all raw no dressing. i will go on the elyptical for 40 mins and do leg weights. my plan is to either juice or raw mon-thurs and frid-sun mostly raw with some grilled protein. i feel like steamed chicken breast and fish. i also feel like egg whites. these along with occasional grilled/steamed veggies are the only cooked things i will eat for a while. i still have 7 pounds to lose. so that diet with loads of exercise hopefully should see the rest of it come off. bms are back to solid, i will continue to drink smooth move at night for a the first week if i feel i need it.
i wore some jeans out last night and they looked good- i still have sooo much fat around my stomach which is really frustrating - cant i just get it sucked out!
i would like to start eating breakfast, i am going to experiment with home made muesli - whole foods has a fantastic section in there bulk bin row. yum yum. i also want to add oatmeal to my diet. i have never been a big breakfast fan so this will be hard for me but i keep reading how important a healthy breakfast is. i generally dont start eating or juicing until lunch time but i am going to try smaller meals more ofter to try and boost my metabalism. oh and i have to remind myself water water water!!!! It is exciting planning what i will eat i feel like there are so many choices and really good healthy ones. Feels good to be "normal" again - well not fasting anyway!
