My first fast and my first blog.........
I got to work early today and decided on a bit of a whim to water fast for 7-days. I was always so skinny in high school (6' tall and 145 lbs at 18 yrs old). In college I got up to 180, then as the years went by I was 210... 220.... now 245 (I'm 38 now). I feel like I've lost control of myself and my life. It's just go to work, go home, eat and watch tv, go to bed, get up and start all over again.
I guess I want to see if I can accomplish something moderately difficult that is completely under my own control. Losing a couple of pounds and getting a little healthier wouldn't hurt anything either. I just decided I'm going to walk from 5:00-6:00 am too, rain or shine.
1) Nothing but water from 7/16 - 7/23
2) Walk every morning from 5:00-6:00 am. 5:01 doesn't count!
