Ahhh day 5! 17 y
Finally, the light at the end! Or not...
I am so baffled by this experience this time around. Today has been amazing. No headach or nausia (so far), although I did do a SWF this morning that helped my previous ”situation” a ton. I have plenty of energy and feel normal. I even had ”lunch” today with some girlfriends and didn’t crave anything they were eating at all. Pretty big hurdle for me to get over- being social while fasting. We’ll see how tonight goes but for now I’m on a pretty good high. And THANK YOU Barefoot for the SWF recommendation. Help!
I just got home from work and weighed myself. I haven’t lost a pound! Day 4 and no weight loss! Plus only 1 BM today... someone please help! This DEFINITELY did not happen last time. Day 3 and 4 summarized
It’s been two days since I last wrote and only because I couldn’t figure out the blog system. THEN I spotted POST NEW MESSAGE- I hope I’m doing this right. Anyway- day 4. Last time I didn’t have any headaches and my stomach never grumbled. This time? Day 4 and both are still occurring. Any suggestions as to what to do about that are welcome. Otherwise, I feel pretty good. I wish the hunger would go away- really strange that it hasn’t by now. Yesterday was rough- Day 3. I really wanted to quit. Must be memory loss...
So this is my first time blogging. Pretty pathetic as I’m a writer by trade BUT I do have to say that I’ve been reading the blogs on juice fasting on this website for some time and they helped me when I popped my fasting cherry. My first juice fast was last February (’06). It came about in a strange way. I was referred to this crazy Korean acupuncturist when I sprained my neck for the umpteenth time and saw a pamphlet in her office for ”guaranteed weight loss” via fasting.
