Walnut Oil-Parasites Test   18 y
Another test for parasites is using black walnut oil on the swab. One or two drops are sufficient to start. If there is a burning sensation and twitching of the toes or it feels like a rock inside after a few days or scaling may appear on the outside are indications that parasites may exist. Applying ozonated oil or vitamin E on the dry skin will help soften the tissue.

http://www.appliedozone.com/parasites.html Black Walnut Due to the many misunderstandings regarding who said what and how black walnut is to be used, I hit the books. As always, Maude Grieve was wonderful. The botanical name of the American black walnut is Juglans nigra. The European nut is probably of Persian origin. Grieve states that the species known as Juglans regia can be found far to the East of Persia: to the Hindu Kush, Kashmir, and Sikkim. The tree was grown throughout the Roman Empire. It was described by Varro (born c. 116 A.D.) The Romans called the tree ”nux” because ...   read more

Walnuts: The Substitute Snack   19 y
Fresh raw nuts in their shells make the best snack food for two reasons. First, the oil will be fresh because of the natural protection of the outer shell. Secondly, cracking open the shell forces you to eat more slowly instead of handfuls of nuts that are improperly chewed and swallowed. You have time to mix this concentrated food with ample saliva, making it much easier on the digestive system. We eat food far too quickly and this is unhealthy, especially with highly concentrated foods. Chewing nuts slowly will help to eliminate the heaviness in the stomach. Mixing nuts with dried fruits increases their digestibility and the combinations of flavors are splendiciously delicious.

WALNUTS The early Persians and Greeks used walnuts for oil and powdered them to thicken desserts much like the way we use corn starch today. Ninety-five percent of all the walnuts eaten in North America come from—you guessed it, California. When the nuts are ready to be harvested they attach a tree shaker which causes the walnuts to fall from the sky like rain. Walnuts in the shell are a messy, delicious treat. Raw, unshelled walnuts should be stored in the refrigerator or freezer. They can be broken into fine pieces for baking by rolling them with a rolling pin. Crushed walnuts sprink ...   read more

Scabies:Black Walnut Hull Powder Testimony   19 y
Posted by John on February 06, 2005 at 12:04:39: It started with pimples on my upper arms, then expanded from elbow to shoulders. Then they changed to blisters all over my feet, hands, sporadic on my legs, arms, shoulders. Some were huge. Didn't want to use permethrin. Got some black walnut hull powder, mixed it with water. Covered my body with it each night. They stopped biting. But got little nibbles still on my knuckles, in between fingers. Got them off my feet to just on my hands, then just on my left hand in the end. It was obvious I was winning the war. So started spraying my bed with rubbing alcohol from a spray bottle. Then cover it up with blankets to let those fumes bake those little sobs. It worked. I am laughing now because it has been a horrible time for me. The scabs are healing. Now my scabs are almost healed. Haven't gotten bit in a week.

Walnuts contain a chemical called juglone that is useful for dealing with mite infestations, according to pharmacognosist (natural product pharmacist) Albert Leung, Ph.D. Dr. Leung recommends making a wash by boiling a few cracked walnut shell pieces in a cup of water until about half of the water has evaporated. Walnuts are Brainfood   19 y
I am beginning to believe that walnuts and green-hull black walnut tincture may be a key element for curing any number of neurological problems including Alzheimers, Autism, ADD,ADHD, Depression, Manic Depression and other health problems related to an inadequate amount of Omega 3 oils in our diet. Walnuts are one of the richest sources of Omega 3 oils. I have done many hours but not exhaustive research for the uses of walnuts for treating all kinds of diseases and conditions and found many studies that support my hypothesis. I am going to continue researching more information about Omega-3 oils for neurological health. Many studies recommend eating fish and I do eat fish two or three times a week but I am concerned about the mercury content in fish. From my research, I believe that eating a dozen or so walnuts in one meal a day as a substitutue for meat in that meal could provide many health benefits. I would also consider using walnut oil as a substitute for vegetable oil.

Sources and requirements Good for the brain and children too The human brain is one of the largest ”consumers” of DHA. A normal adult human brain contains more than 20 grams of DHA. Low DHA levels have been linked to low brain serotonin levels which again are connected to an increased tendency to depression, suicide, and violence. A high intake of fish has been linked to a significant decrease in age-related memory loss and cognitive function impairment and a lower risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease. A recent study found that Alzheimer’s patients given an omega-3-rich supplement ex ...   read more

Take a look at this study. I am not sure of the source yet but as soon as I track it down, I will cite the source of the study.

There are a number of herbs that can help control Candida. Studies from Germany, Russia, England and Hungary show that the fungi are inhibited by many plants whose essential oils are potent antifungal agents—cloves, cinnamon, allspice, tea tree, lavender, garlic and chamomile. In one impressive study, the fresh husk of the black walnut was shown to destroy Candida better than a commonly prescribed antifungal drug. Echinacea, valerian and berberine (from goldenseal, barberry or Oregon grape root) have been shown to inhibit Candida in various studies. Candida Tincture 1 ounce tincture ...   read more

I have had some problems with my hair drying out for the last few months and I looked at walnuts as a healthy way to get some Omega 3 fatty acids to restore my hair. If my hair was drying out then perhaps there was something else going wrong internally and my dry brittle hair was just a warning sign of something worse? Walnuts for Weight Loss   19 y
Walnut (Juglans, various species). You might think that nuts, which are high in fat, should be avoided by anyone who is trying to lose weight. But a study of more than 25,000 Seventh-Day Adventists showed that those who ate the most nuts were the least obese. Walnuts are our richest dietary source of serotonin, which, as mentioned earlier, helps make us feel full. Possibly the nuts produced feelings of satiety. It is important to understand, however, that Seventh-Day Adventists are vegetarians who live a much healthier lifestyle than the typical American. It's not clear that nuts would help you control your weight if you're an omnivore eating both meat and vegetables. But you might experiment to see if eating a handful of walnuts helps you control food cravings.

Diuretic herbs, which increase urine production, can cause short-term weight loss but cannot help patients achieve lasting weight control. The body responds to heightened urine output by increasing thirst to replace lost fluids, and patients who use diuretics for an extended period of time eventually start retaining water again anyway. In moderate doses, psyllium, a mucilaginous herb available in bulk-forming laxatives like Metamucil, absorbs fluid and makes patients feel as if they’ve eaten enough. Red peppers and mustard help patients lose weight more quickly by accelerating the meta ...   read more

Walnuts for Prostate & Lung Cancer   19 y
Walnuts, pecans may halt growth of prostate cancer cells Dec 23, 2004 Urology Times E-News The vitamin E from certain seeds might stop the growth of prostate and lung cancer cells, according to a report in Proceedings of the National Academy of Science (published online Dec. 13, 2004). Researchers from Purdue University, led by Qing Jiang, PhD, found that walnuts, pecans, sesame seeds, corn, and sesame oil contain gamma-tocopherol, which kills human prostate and lung cancer in lab cultures. The vitamin interrupts the synthesis of sphingolipids in the cancer cells but leaves the healthy human prostate cells unaffected. The scientists also found that most manufactured vitamin supplements do not contain gamma-tocopherol, but do contain alpha-tocopherol. The latter is another form of vitamin E that does not have anti-cancer properties. "This is the first time gamma-tocopherol has been shown to induce death in lab-grown human cancer cells while le

Fight Cancer with Walnuts   19 y
(SACRAMENTO, Calif) June 1, 2004—You already know that walnuts are one of the few foods, and the only nut, that fulfills the daily requirements of omega-3 fatty acids, but here’s another reason to make sure you’re getting your daily dose! Leading health organizations and government agencies are increasingly recognizing the importance of essential omega-3s by establishing new dietary guidelines. The American Institute for Cancer Research (AICR) is the latest to announce its support of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) decision to permit nutrient content claims for foods rich in omega-3s, given a link between omega-3s and reduced risk of some cancers. With recent news about toxins in certain marine sources of omega-3s, the AICR recommends walnuts as an alternative beneficial source of the essential nutrient.

This nod from the AICR adds to the body of support from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), American Heart Association (AHA), National Academy of Sciences and The White House in calling for increased consumption of omega-3s, a critical nutrient deficient in the American diet. “Walnuts are one of the most nutritious whole food sources of omega-3s” says Carol Berg Sloan, R.D., science and nutrition consultant for the California Walnut Commission. “Omega-3s are essential for optimal function of every cell in our bodies but since our bodies can’t create this ‘good’ fat, we have to ge ...   read more

WALNUTS and WALNUT OIL Junglans regia Beneficial effects in health and in the control of chronic disease. American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, Sept. 1999, Vol. 70, Iss. 3, p. 560 Walnut and walnut oil contains essential unsaturated fats that are good for the brain. A scientific study performed by John T. Bernert Jr. Ph.D. and Waren S. Browner, M.D., studied 192 men with incident stroke. The phospholipid fatty acid levels were measured as a percentage of total fatty acids to weigh their association with incident stroke. The results suggested that higher serum levels of linolenic acid found in walnuts and walnut oil significantly reduced the risk of stroke in middle-aged men who were originally at high-risk for cardiovascular disease. Stroke, 1995, Vol. 26: pp. 778-782 Key Vitamins in Walnuts include thiamin, vitamin B6, and folic acid.

Dr. Clark:Parasites Black Walnut Hulls   19 y
Take freeze-dried green black walnut hull capsules, 2 capsules 4 times a day for four days. Thereafter take 3 capsules once a week and watch urine for small white spots or clouds — signs of dead parasites. If these are seen, take the 2 capsules 4 times a day for another 2-4 days. Dr. Clark has stated: "Freeze dried green black walnut is so potent you don’t need cloves and wormwood, provided you take it at 8 capsules a day." Dr. Clark discovered, using her Syncrometer, that this treatment kills 80-90 different parasites. Black Walnut Hull for Cancer tumors   19 y
During a study conducted in the 1960s, researchers injected two of the chemicals found in the hull of the black walnut into tumors in laboratory animals. The result: Both the size and the weight of the tumors decreased dramatically. Researchers investigating the same effect obtained a German patent in 1990 for this anti-cancer treatment. I am going to try to find the sources of these studies.

I am going to try to identify the sources of these studies. Some supporting information comes from Dr. Clark who claims that all cancers are caused by a single common parasite. This parasite becomes established in the liver when it reacts with accumulations of a common solvent (which is in many processed foods and personal products). Black Walnuts and Green Hulls from Black Walnuts are very effective for ridding the liver of parasites.   visit the page

Study: Nuts & Heart Health   19 y
Nuts Linked to Heart Health in Men Source: Tufts University August 8, 2002 (Reviewed: August 20, 2004) Evidence continues to support the idea that eating nuts is associated with heart health. A recent study found that men who consumed nuts regularly (two or more times per week) had a 47% lower risk of sudden cardiac death compared with men who rarely or never consumed nuts. The results are published in the Archives of Internal Medicine.

Studying data on thousands of physicians Harvard researchers examined dietary questionnaires completed periodically by more than 20,000 male physicians to determine how often they ate a serving of nuts (about 1 oz.). Over a 17-year period, the researchers kept track of study participants and documented those who suffered a heart attack or sudden cardiac death. Nuts lowered the risk The men who reported eating nuts at least twice a week had a 47% lower risk of sudden cardiac death compared with men who rarely ate them. However, eating nuts did not significantly lower the risk for n ...   read more

Study: Walnuts for Diabetics (and Other People)    19 y
Walnuts for Diabetics (and Other People) Summarized by Robert W. Griffith, MD January 7, 2005 Introduction There have been a lot of reports of the benefits of eating nuts, chiefly relating to heart health. But there hasn't been much indication of how they exert their good effects. Now a study shows that walnuts can raise the HDL-cholesterol level (that's the 'good' cholesterol) in type 2 diabetics, who are at particular risk of developing coronary atherosclerosis. The results are reported in the journal Diabetes Care, and we summarize them below.

The new study Fifty-eight type 2 diabetics were enrolled in the study; their average age was 59. They were randomly divided into three groups, with each group given different advice on their diet. All three groups were prescribed a diet with 30% of the energy (calories) as fat. The first group had a low fat diet, the second group a modified low-fat diet, and the third group had a modified low-fat diet containing 30 grams of walnuts (about 8-10) daily. The study lasted 6 months. Body weight, body fat, blood lipids, HBA1c, and the fatty acid levels in red blood cells were measured at b ...   read more

Walnuts Help Diabetes    19 y
The good oil in walnuts helps Diabetes patients Dec 02, 2004 People developing Type 2 Diabetes know they need more than an apple a day to keep the doctor away. But a handful of walnuts might help. Walnuts are rich in polyunsaturated fats, Omega oils and vitamins. Researchers at the University of Wollongong's Smart Foods Centre today released the results of a study that shows how to harness the nutritional value of walnuts, especially the “good” oils, to help people manage their diet better in the early stages of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. The research showed that including walnuts in the diet improves the relative amounts of “good” oils, to help people manage their diet better in the early stages of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.

Then a neighbor told me to peel the green outer hull off a black walnut and rub the inside of the hull on the spot. She said it would stain my leg brown but kill the ringworm.
